We had a good weekend. Saturday we went to Fallingwater, a house built over a water fall by Frank Lloyd Wright for a Pittsburgh family for a summer home around the 1930's. THe following pictures do not do it justice! It was amazing. Every room had a balcony and lots of windows.
Sunday we attended church at First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. We went back after lunch for a strawberry festival and a Lutherans for Life event. Then we went to a movie.
We love you all!

Gregg and his young son Blake. Lory was having surgery the day of the funeral so she could not be there.
It was a fast trip, but so good to see family. We had not seen most of them for years. We hope to see Uncle Dick again later this month or in July.
The front of Amy's building in Washington D.C. where we stayed while we were in D.C. We spent Friday and Saturday night at Amy's place so we could visit Fred and Regina. It was a fast trip. We headed back home on Sunday after church.
View from the roof of Amy's apartment. You can see the Washington Monument

At the Hospice Hospital visiting Fred. Regina is holding up Issac up for Fred to talk to. We got to visit with Fred on Friday and Saturday for a little while. He tired easily so we did not stay long and he had other visitors.
View of the capital from the Old Post Office Tower in Washington D.C. We went to the old Post Office for lunch after our tour and before we went back to the hospital
The National Cathedral. Washington D.C. We took a trolly tour and stopped at the cathedral. The grounds there are beautiful.

Shawna and I went home for her graduation. The next day she left for Colorado for Camp. That next weekend we met in Houston for Elizabeths graduation. Before driving home Nathan and I took Shawna to the airport to fly back to colorado. We got home Sunday evening, and I flew back to Pittsburgh on Tuesday June 2.
