We decided that this is where you would have been if we brought you here when you were little!

Blackwater falls is a beautiful park in West Virginia. I had been there as a little girl. It was fun to go back with Brent!

Pittsburgh Zoo. It is very nice but we were sorry there was no Kudu.

The above and below pictures are of amazing sea horses! We had never seen anything like these.

But we did see a rhino!

Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh we attended

I guess this should be named Letters to Malawi and Oklahoma now!

We had a good weekend. Saturday we went to Fallingwater, a house built over a water fall by Frank Lloyd Wright for a Pittsburgh family for a summer home around the 1930's. THe following pictures do not do it justice! It was amazing. Every room had a balcony and lots of windows.

Sunday we attended church at First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. We went back after lunch for a strawberry festival and a Lutherans for Life event. Then we went to a movie.
We love you all!

May and early June

Aunt Noramay DIed June 6 while we were in Washington D.C. We got home Sunday and arranged to go the the funeral. We left after work Tuesday from Downtown and drove to Indiana. The service was Wednesday morning. After the funeral the church provided a lunch. The above picture is cousin Michael talking to his grandmother. (Noramay's mom)
Terry, The youngest of the boys. His boys were not there so we did not get to see them.

Uncle Dick. He is doing good. It is hard for him, but he knows where Noramay is!

Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue drove in also.

Michael, Ginger, Kelly, Kathlene, and John Michael. Kelly just graduated from high school

Scott and Melissa and their little one Caitlin(just three weeks old) They had been able to visit so Aunt Normay got to hold Caitlin before she died!

Gregg and his young son Blake. Lory was having surgery the day of the funeral so she could not be there.
It was a fast trip, but so good to see family. We had not seen most of them for years. We hope to see Uncle Dick again later this month or in July.

Brent had off Friday June 5th so we took the weekend to go to D.C.
The front of Amy's building in Washington D.C. where we stayed while we were in D.C. We spent Friday and Saturday night at Amy's place so we could visit Fred and Regina. It was a fast trip. We headed back home on Sunday after church.

View from the roof of Amy's apartment. You can see the Washington Monument

At the Hospice Hospital visiting Fred. Regina is holding up Issac up for Fred to talk to. We got to visit with Fred on Friday and Saturday for a little while. He tired easily so we did not stay long and he had other visitors.
